AXYS — Robotic Arm for Unitree Go2
A wirelessly teleoperated 3-DOF robotic arm designed and integrated as a functional extension of the Unitree Go2 quadruped. I developed the mechanical structure, electrical architecture, embedded control, CAN motor communication, sensing, computer-vision targeting, and the browser-based control interface — enabling the robot to press buttons, operate switches, and manipulate targets in its environment.
Three DM-J4340 motors over CAN, an ESP32-CAM for video and target selection, ultrasonic distance feedback, and force sensing to confirm contact. The interface adds manual joint control, motor enabling, standby/collapse motions, safety locking, zero calibration, and an automated pressing workflow.
